My early work was shot in black and white, in the lineage of documentary or “street” photography. Often the beach was my street. I am drawn to the human form, the relaxed and unselfconscious moments and gestures of people. The photographs are also an exploration of overall form, with the body as part of, and embedded in, the landscape. |
